Skyview High School Band & Dance Parents

• The Discount Cards are still available.  SVBD has bought a number of them and if they are not sold, the amount spent on them by SVBD will come out of the grant fund. 

   

• And idea:    Band and Dance students usually have friends in school other than other band or dance students.  Sell a card to a friend who leaves campus for lunch.  There are 2 for 1 deals on local food vendors. 

   

• Another idea:    Get together with a couple other band or dance kids, and an adult.  Ask permission from a business on the card, to sell cards in front of that business for a few hours. 

   

• NEEDED:  A new Fundraiser Chairman for the remainder of the year.  Danelle has stepped down, for now, and we need someone to take over.  If we get no one to take over, we will not have the opportunity to do any more fundraisers this year.  PLEASE CONSIDER volunteering to chair this very important position.

Any orders submitted by Dec 19th, 3pm at Starbucks next to the Salmon Creek Fred Meyers are guaranteed to be in before Christmas!

Discount Cards are only $10 and make great thank you gifts for coaches/instructors/teachers, stocking stuffers, gifts for the gift exchange at work, etc.

Orders will be accepted through January 30th, however all Discount Cards will have the expiration date of 12/31/2012.

Even if you are not currently in band/dance, you can participate to work on next fall's fair share!

DISCOUNT CARDS

 

Another round of Discount Cards begins this week.  Students make 85% profit on the cards.  That means if a studenet sells 10 cards, $85 dollars goes into his or her points account. 

 

It's that easy! Check out one card or pay in advance for as many as you'd like! Or, just take an order form with you, and your order will be filled when you're done taking orders. 

 

These Discount Cards are great thank you gifts for your: UPS driver, mailman, teacher, newspaper delivery folks, the oft overlooked waste collection guys/gals, etc. Excellent stocking stuffers for your high school students even! Great offers from McDonald's, Yo 2 Go (new frozen yogurt place in Salmon Creek), etc. At only $10, it's an inexpensive gift that gives back to your student's points account.

Tuesday December 13th

BUTTERBRAIDS & COOKIE DOUGH

 

The Butterbraids and Cookie Dough orders will be ready for pick-up directly BEFORE the parent meeting on Tuesday December 13th.  The ordered items need refrigeration so it is very important that you be there to pick them up at 6:45 or arrange for someone to do it for you.

HALLOWEEN INSURANCE

 

Band and Dance members can sell policies at a cost of the $5 per policy.  The insurance covers nuisance damage from Halloween, such as egging, toilet paper and smashed pumpkins.  It does NOT cover property damage that requires repairs and replacements.  The work is done by the marching band and color guard members during a small window of time on November 1st. 

 

Point return for this Individual Fundraiser is 100%.
