FOOTBALL & JAZZ FESTIVAL!

For the first time in Skyview History, the football team is heading to State.  The whole band will be going to support the team.

The Jazz Festival is this weekend as well, with over 30 jazz bands competing.  Volunteers are needed.

Please see Mr. Robertson's letter about volunteers here.

FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS!

We are at this point already in the playoffs for football.  What happens on the Union Game will determine the
final locations and times on our games.

These dates are firm at this point:

Nov. 4 or 5 (Friday or Saturday) (league playoff)

Nov. 11 or 12 (Friday or Saturday) (league playoff)

Nov. 18 or 19 (Friday or Saturday) (multi league playoff)

Of course we are hoping that the first couple at least will be held at Kiggins Bowl, but that is yet to be determined (by our last home game).  Playoff games may eventually lead all the way to the State playoffs which could potentially be anywhere in our State.  These games go into early December!

We want to support the football team as long as they keep winning their games.  Please add these dates to your calendars.

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A new page has been added with duties information for chaperones and safety and behavior guidelines.  Everyone should read the safety & behavior guidelines so that everyone understands what is expected.  Chaperones should familiarize themselves with their duites for competitions and football games.  All of these are in the in the Responsibilities link on the Volunteer Info page.

 COMPETITION CHANGE!

Most of you already know, but the Spokane competition trip has been cancelled.  We are waiting for information on possibly doing a different competition on that day.  When that confirmation comes in, one way or the other, this message will be changed to reflect it.

The Band and Dance kids will now be playing at the football game against Battleground High School on the 7th.
