​The Skyview Jazz Festival is back again for the 25th* installment of this gala jazz celebration. Check back here for the latest information on the schedule, adjudicators, guest artists, and more.

We always have a lot of exciting guest performers coming to the festival. This year we have two Clark College ensembles, Portland State University, and the U.S. Army Rock Band.

 

With our festival you can kick off your season with a 25 minute performance clinic as well as an optional sight reading contest. Food service will be available. We hope you can join us!

What our Festival Offers:
Comments from professional adjudicators
A half hour performance clinic with one of the adjudicators
An optional sight reading contest/clinic
Recorded performance feedback for classroom use
Guest performers throughout the day
Division selection by the director, not by school size
Perform in a beautiful 1200 seat auditorium with professional live sound mixing and stage lighting

*We recently learned that this is the 27th installment of the Skyview Jazz Festival. The festival premiered in 1997, the same year as the opening of the high school. We have only missed hosting one year which was due to the pandemic. For a full history of the Skyview Jazz Festival, please check out our program.

T-shirts, hoodies, posters, and tumblers will be for sale at concessions.

For our evening performance, some of the talented musicians from Portland State University's jazz program will be taking the stage.

The complete schedule of bands, awards, and headliners, listed by school.​

The U.S. Army Rock Band (204th Army Band) is back again for your enjoyment performing on the Commons Stage at the dinner break.

We will feature two Clark College jazz ensembles during the festival. One in the morning and one at the dinner break.

We will be offering a variety of  concessions, including hamburgers and other items. There will also be plenty of SWAG!

The Skyview High School Band and Dance program is comprised of three Concert Bands (Concert, Symphonic, and Wind Ensemble), Dance, Marching Band, Winter Guard, Winter Percussion, and Jazz Band.
